jom schlischi – 12th Adar 5775 – dream 2h30 – my late brother Huldreich is at the end of his strength and is sinking March 3, 2015

1) My brother Huldreich is diving to repair a defect under the stern of the sailboat. He signals that he has no more strength and I call him to come up. (There is one more person watching the scene; I think it’s my sister who is still alive.) In fact, my brother is sinking. It is clear to me that I will dive after him, which I do after taking a deep breath. Once at the bottom, I see my brother, walking. I shout something to him but don’t know what. He then seems to stagger backwards.

2) Change of scene. We move in illustrious company. My brother Huldreich hands an accompanying gentleman an item from which the regatta result can be seen: 1 x first and 1 x second rank. That arouses great astonishment because it was not expected.

Essence:
1) Ship repairs by the deceased brother underwater. He has no more strength and sinks. I meet him diving on the bottom. When I call, he seems to stagger.
2) My brother is the “star”.

Relation to reality (in the past):

1) My brother, the skilled craftsman. He often used his talent for others. As a teenager he had built a sailing boat himself, which I was allowed to use in my spare time during my high school years. I have a childhood memory on the subject of “diving”. After a hot summer’s day, my best childhood friend and I went to the lido later in the evening. It was already getting dark. As we got into the water, we realized that not far from us, someone was drowning and sank. I decided to dive, but couldn’t see anything because of the twilight. I held myself close to the ground until I felt a leg pulling the drowned man ashore. He could be resuscitated by other people.

2) My brother and I were a successful sailing regatta team. With Huldreich as helmsman, we became Swiss champions in the pirate class on Lake Zurich in 1967. A year earlier, we had finished second at the Swiss championship on Lake St. Moritz, with me as the helmsman.

Symbol:
1) It’s about my brother’s imminent resurrection.
My brother is in the “underworld” from where I want to bring him up. I interpret the staggering as a reluctance to return to the reincarnation cycle.
2) The resurrection of my brother will be a sensation. He will become a “star”; I’m just second. He will become the “Primus inter Pares” and not me, as discussed over the phone

Call:
Bless your brother Huldreich in the name of Yahweh!

PS
In the time of the Apostle Paul there was the rite of being baptized for the dead. This custom continues to this day in certain denominations. It is from 1 Corinthians 15:

1 Corinthians 15:26-29 New International Version (NIV)

26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.”[a] Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

29 Now if there is no resurrection, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them?

I would not go as far as to be baptized for my brother even though he was only baptized as an infant. Baptism will be made up after the resurrection. On the other hand, I see the Blessing in the name of Yahweh, the ONE true God, as a valid offer that I want to practice from now on. I had a special “resurrection vision” in one of my four psychiatric phases, when people from the underworld (Sheol) were brought up on a rope. Faith is the rope. In faith I bring Huldreich out of Sheol.
